I absolutely fell in love with this butterfly fabric. It was one of the easiest quilts I have done so far. I am going to use the same pattern to make a quilt for each of my boys. I am still on the lookout for the backing for this one. Any suggestions? ??
Just a little update on the house hunting. We found one that we both love. It is a short sale ( which really means this will take a long time) our offer has been accepted and within the next week we should get the okay to get our mortgage guy going on his stuff. We are thinking we will be moving sometime in July. I am very excited to make this move!!!!!
This is the quilt I made for my daughter. There were many times when I didn't think I would ever finish this quilt, but I am so happy with how it turned out.
We placed another bid on a house tonight it is the third one we have attempted to buy! I never thought this process would be so frusterating and tiring. The first house went to a highest and best between five different couples and although we had a highest bid we did not get the house.( banks would rather have more up front in a down payment then over thirty years). The second house we couldn't get the couple selling to agree on a price after going back and forth a few times we pulled our bid. They have more things to work out than just selling thier house. The house tonight kind of found mu husband while he was driving around. We can't find the house on amy website for sale but a big sign in the driveway says for sale so we called out realtor and he got us in to see it. Now I am just praying that if this is the one God will make it all go smoothly for us. And he will also give us handy hands to do the work we need to do inside it to make it ours!! The seller has 72 hours to get back to us as to weather he counters our offer or accepts it! It is all in God's hands now !!!! We would appreciate any prayers!
I have to say that the best thing I have ever done is become a mom! I love being a mom more than anything else in this world and God has blessed me with three great children. It amazes me each time I look at them and think that He trusts me to raise them for Him! It is truly the best gift in the world! I am also so lucky to be doing it with my best friend! My husband is such a good dad! I'm not saying our house is perfect and we don't have any problems!!! We have plenty of those with a daughter entering the preteen ages and two very entergetic boys who all have very different personalities!!!!!!!
Sometimes I wonder if they are aliens! I pray that we are doing a good job and instilling good ethics in our kids, that they remember all the fun memeories of thier childhood and grow up to be the best that they can be and the Lord with all thier hearts!
As I type this my daughter is lying on the couch in the other room home sick from school snuggling with our puppy while our older dog lays by my feet snoring. I am also working on the quilt I am making for my daughter I can't wait to get it finished it seems to be taking a long time to get this one done! Then I can start work on the ones for my boys. I am hoping to have them at least part done before we move. First we need to find a house after waiting forever for one we liked then deciding that wasn't the one for us, putting an offer in on one and being outbid on the second house, and bidding on one that the ex husbands agrees to a price on but not the ex wife!!!!! We are just giving it to God to show us where we are suppose to be and where the best place for our kids is going to be! I guess searching for a house is a lot like raising kids you just have to be open for God to guide you in the right direction!!!
